Every spring, Central Park becomes a powerful symbol of unity, remembrance, and hope as thousands gather for AIDS Walk New York. In 2025, Gotham Cheer was honored to return once again, filling the route with energy, support, and spirit as we cheered on walkers, volunteers, and GMHC staff throughout the day. For Gotham Cheer, this event is more than a performance—it’s a tradition rooted in community, activism, and love.

History was made in Bayonne, New Jersey, as the city came together to celebrate its first-ever Pride—and Gotham Cheer was honored to bring our energy, spirit to the occasion!

On Saturday, August 9, Gotham Cheer joined an incredible lineup of performers at Sandy Jack’s for a night full of drag, music, and community — all in support of PFLAG NYC, the nation’s first and largest organization for parents, families, and allies of LGBTQ+ people.

We were beyond thrilled to be part of this year’s US Open Fan Week performance lineup — and what an unforgettable moment it was for our team!
